Weight loss isn’t simply about eating less or trying harder. Metabolism, age, hormones, sleep, stress, medications, appetite, and changes in muscle mass can all affect how your body responds.
At Hourglass, our NP and RN-led medical weight loss program takes a personalized approach—combining appropriate medical treatment with nutrition, lifestyle support, and ongoing monitoring.
Because the goal isn’t just to lose weight. It’s to become healthier, stronger, and feel better in your body.
Meet with our expert team to evaluate your health, discuss goals, and craft a strategy that fits your needs.
We develop a customized program combining medications, nutrition, and lifestyle adjustments for maximum impact.
Benefit from weekly injections designed to curb appetite and balance blood sugar for consistent fat loss.
We don’t believe in handing you medication and sending you on your way.
Your Hourglass team provides ongoing medical support throughout your weight loss journey, with a focus on helping you achieve results while protecting your overall health.
Your program may include:
We review your health history, medications, previous weight loss efforts, lifestyle, concerns, and goals. Laboratory testing may be recommended when appropriate.
Your plan may include prescription medication, nutrition and protein goals, physical activity recommendations, and lifestyle strategies based on your individual needs.
Our NP and RN team monitors your progress, medication response, side effects, and overall well-being, making adjustments when clinically appropriate.
Reaching your goal isn’t the end of the journey. We’ll help you develop a long-term strategy for maintaining your progress and supporting your health.
When medically appropriate, prescription medication may be incorporated into your personalized treatment plan.
Options may include:
Semaglutide
A GLP-1 receptor agonist that can decrease appetite, increase feelings of fullness, and support weight management in appropriate patients.
Tirzepatide
A medication that acts on both GIP and GLP-1 pathways to help regulate appetite and support weight reduction in appropriate patients.
Other Prescription Options
GLP-1 medications aren’t appropriate for everyone. Other prescription weight-management medications may be considered based on your health history and individual needs.
Your provider will review the potential benefits, risks, side effects, and appropriate treatment options with you before starting medication.

Midlife can bring changes in metabolism, sleep, appetite, muscle mass, body composition, and where your body tends to store fat. For women entering perimenopause or menopause, hormonal changes can add another layer to the picture.
That doesn’t mean every extra pound is caused by hormones—or that weight gain is inevitable.
It means you may need a different approach.
For women experiencing other symptoms of perimenopause or menopause, our medical team can also discuss whether a comprehensive menopause evaluation may be appropriate.
Your weight tells us something. It doesn’t tell us everything.
Hourglass uses ShapeScale 3D body scanning technology to help track changes in your body’s shape and measurements over time.
This gives you another way to see your progress—especially when you’re exercising, preserving muscle, or experiencing physical changes that aren’t fully reflected by the number on the scale.
At Hourglass, you’ll receive personalized medical care, ongoing support, and a plan designed around you.
Whether you’re beginning your weight loss journey, struggling with midlife weight changes, or looking for a medical team to help you maintain the progress you’ve already made, we’re here to help.
